Family & Community Stand

Family & Community Stand

Welcome to our Family & Community section of the website.

Family & Community Stand1

Our Family and Community section is situated in the small section of the TLH Auctioneers stand.

This season we have dedicated a section of the stadium for families and junior supporters to sit and enjoy the game, as well as encouraging interaction.

The Oldham Athletic Community Trust give away child complimentary tickets to schools each home game as part of their community initiative.

Inside the stand on match days, you can find the JD Williams Team of the Week, who take part in the guard of honour welcoming the players onto the pitch.

They also take part in a 10 minute game at half time in front of the stand.

We also run various activities in the stand including face paints, penalty shootout and fencing workshops.

Club mascot Chaddy the Owl greets all junior supporters on arrival into the stadium, posing for pictures and handing out high fives.

Whilst inside, junior supporters can take advantage of the deals on offer at our tuckshop and also the refreshment kiosk.

Matchday Club

The JD Williams Match Day Club also occupy the Family and Community section at home games.

For more information on how to join our Match Day Club, please email Community Manager Martin Vose.

Street Jammers

The Street Jammers are the official dance group for the football club.

Before home matches, the group of around 25 junior supporters showcase their routines to all fans.

To become part of the Street Jammers, please email Operations Manager Wendy Noble.

Seasonal Activities

The Boundary Blues run seasonal activities in the Family and Community section, including Spooky Blues Day, Santa’s Grotto and Easter Egg Hunt.

These are usually run before a home game before Halloween, Christmas or Easter takes place.

More information will be available on the website nearer the time.
