Oldham Athletic take on Bristol Rovers tomorrow afternoon (3pm kick off).
Latics will be looking to make it three wins in a row in the Sky Bet League One.
If John Sheridan’s men can claim maximum points on their trip south and other results go their way, they will also confirm survival from relegation.
Striker, Lee Erwin is currently in excellent from having scored six goals in his last eight games and the team are unbeaten in every game he has scored in since the start of 2017.
Manager John Sheridan believes he can carry on with his great scoring form:“I can see goals in him.”
“He’s got that freedom of just being up there playing as a striker, I’ve give him that freedom and he's done well and since he's got back in with the team he’s done really well.”
Young defender, Jamie Stott made his league debut in the victory over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday and could possibly feature against Bristol with the fitness of Anthony Gerrard uncertain after picking up a hamstring injury in the warm up before the match against the Trotters.
However, Stott will be full of confidence after a man of the match performance on his debut.
Bristol Rovers were beaten in their last game out by strugglers Gillingham, however prior to that the Gas won away at AFC Wimbledon and beat 10-man Shrewsbury comfortably.
Latics have the incentive of survival whilst the Gas will be looking to confirm a place in the top ten after achieving promotion to League One last season.
