MATCH PREVIEW: Oldham Athletic vs. Gillingham

Oldham Athletic face Gillingham tomorrow afternoon at Park (3pm kick off).

Sheridan’s primary focus is the keep Oldham Athletic in Sky Bet League One, a feat which he achieved in a similar position last season.

It’s been a whirlwind couple of days for the manager who takes over a side bottom of the division.

However, Sheridan will not be on the sidelines for tomorrow’s game as he serves the final match of a five game touchline ban.

Gillingham also made a managerial change last week after they dispersed of the services of Justin Edinburgh, who has recently joined Northampton Town.

The new man who has replaced him is Ady Pennock who is the former manager of Forest Green Rovers.

After a strong start to the season, Gillingham have hit a slump in form and have slid down the Sky Bet League One table.

They currently occupy 17th position picking up 30 points from 25 games this season.

Manager Sheridan could opt to stick with George Edmundson who he gave a league debut to at the end of last season.

Marc Klok left the club today whilst Lee Erwin is still struggling with a groin injury.

Gillingham are struggling with an illness running through their squad but are expected to name a strong line up.

Billy Knott has been struggling with an injury recently but returned to the bench in their last game and could start on Saturday.
