For this weekend's game with Yeovil Town, the Oldham Athletic Community Trust staff have issued 300 junior tickets to local primary schools as part of the 2014/15 OACT schools programme.
The schools that received the tickets work closely with OACT on a weekly basis which sees staff delivering a wide range of different sports to pupils aged between 5 and 11. Weekly, over 400 primary school children participate in the schools programme from around the Oldham borough.The football club is committed to working closely with the local community of Oldham and the Community Trust play a huge part in achieving this.
Martin Vose, OACT Participation Manager, said: "We are delighted to be able to distribute these ticket for Saturday's game to the local schools. Our partnership with local primary schools is a key area of our work and we are privileged to be able to offer them unique opportunities such as this."
