Slew back at Blackburn

3 September 2012

Striker returns to parent club

Latics' on-loan striker Jordan Slew has returned to parent-club Blackburn Rovers.

The 19-year-old has gone back for treatment for a second time after spending less than one month at Boundary Park.

Slew, who is with Latics until January, strained his back against Walsall, an injury which ruled him out of the home game against Stevenage.

He returned to Blackburn for treatment and only rejoined Latics last Thursday.

Little over 20 minutes into the game at Portsmouth, Slew limped off with a recurrence of the problem.
