African Cup of Nations date for Dean
Dean Furman has been named in South Africa's 23-man squad for the African Cup of Nations.The midfield man (pictured) will be leaving immediately after Latics' FA Cup with Budweiser, third-round tie at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, January 5th.
South Africa is hosting the tournament which runs between January 19th and February 10th.
First, however, Furman will feature in two friendlies for South Africa against Norway in Cape Town on January 8th and against Algeria four days later in Soweto.
South Africa kick off their group games against Cape Verde at Soccer City on January 19th. They later play Angola and Morocco in Durban.
