Under-18's beaten by Bury
Latics under-18's suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Bury in the Football League Youth Alliance's North West Conference.The scrappy game was decided by a goal from the Shakers on the stroke of half time.
It was a free header but coach Mick Priest explained it followed a catalogue of errors.
Latics created a number of half chances with Priest saying his side would have found the net had they shown more determination in front of goal.
He added Latics could also have played the conditions better on a difficult pitch at St Gabriel's School.
