Dearden's goal to track down former team mate
Former Latics ' striker Bill Dearden is looking for help to track down Ray Holt, one of his former team mates at Boundary Park.The pair featured for Latics in 1965/66 when half-back Holt made all 17 of his appearances for the club in that campaign.
Holt was signed by Gordon Hurst, but did not feature for the club again after Jimmy McIlroy became manager in January 1966.
Described as a quick and forceful defender, Holt spent seven years at Huddersfield Town before signing for Latics.
He later played for Halifax Town and Scunthorpe United.
