Match reports against Accrington Stanley

Latics under-13's enjoyed a 6-1 victory against Accrington Stanley.

Mwiya Malumo scored twice while there were also goals from Luca Navarro, a spectacular strike, Josh Burrows, Festus Arthur and an own goal.

The under-14's won 3-0 at Stanley and it would have been by a wider margin but for a terrific display by the home keeper.

Harry Fairhurst scored twice for Latics whose other goal came from Adam Farrand.

Two set-piece goals from Jack Roberts and Alex Read earned Latics under-15's a 2-0 victory against Stanley.

Roberts scored from an inswinging corner and Hughes with a header from Alex Read's corner.

Alex Panter, Cameron Bartlett and William Roberts found the net as Latics under-11's beat Stanley 3-2.

The under-10's conceded two goals in the last 10 minutes  as they were held to a 4-4 draw against Stanley.

Ben Fox scored twice for Latics whose other goals came from Niall Dolan and Lewis Walsh.

The under-12's lost 3-2 to a late goal from Stanley.

Tyrese Sinclair and John Shellion were the goalscorers for Latics who, despite losing, played some delightful football.

The under-nine's were involved in small-sided games, but didn't have the best of days as they gave away possession too easily.
