Awards scheme for youngsters
TheStriker 9awards scheme is a football skills training programme for young people in Oldham brought to you by Oldham Community Leisure and Oldham Athletic
Community Trust.
Offering various sessions each week, there’s sure to be a course running at a convenient time near you.
An example of some of the skills taught on the course are:
Shooting
Level 1- The striker shot
Turning
Level 2- The two touch turn
Control
Level 3- Trapping the ball
Dribbling
Level 4- The drag
Heading
Level 5- Defensive header
Passing
Level 6- The chipped pass
New members will receive a*FREE Striker 9 handbook(worth £9.00)
The file is updated on a regular basis with feedback given from the Striker 9 coaches.

Participants move through levels 1 to 6 and then bronze, silver and gold.
The aim is to complete the scheme and achieve the gold award.
The training course helps boys and girls aged 5 - 12yrs to:
