M'Changama leaves Latics

15 March 2013

Youssouf's contract terminated

Youssouf M'Changama has left Latics after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

The 22-year-old midfield player (pictured) is currently recovering from a serious knee injury.

Latics will continue to support M'Changama, a full international for the Comoros Islands, with his rehab.

M'Changama, who has played in France for CS Cedan and Troyes AC, joined Latics in early 2012 on trial.

He was then awarded a short-term deal for the remainder of the 2011/12 season and then a contract for the current campaign.

M'Changama made 22 starts for Latics and a further eight appearances as a substitute scoring two goals.

He quickly settled at his first club in England and was a model professional for Latics and popular figure in the dressing room.

M'Changama was also actively involved and embraced community activities undertaken by the club.

Everybody at Boundary Park would like to wish M'Changama all the best in his future career.
