Fans help fund new arrival
Latics' fans are helping to pay the wages of new signing Edijs Joksts.The money for the Latvian under-21 international is coming from Trust Oldham's PlayerShare scheme.
And Trust Oldham Chairman and Latics' Director Barry Owen says PlayerShare provides fans with involvement in the team.
He explained: "The whole concept of PlayerShare is that it allows fans to contribute and be part of the signing and development of a player.
"And the manager (Lee Johnson) sees Edijs as a player with great potential for the future."
