Mills, Philliskirk strengthen squad
Latics have completed a double signing with the capture of Joseph Mills and Danny Philliskirk.Left-back Mills has arrived from Sky Bet Championship club Burnley on a 28-day loan.
The 23-year-old Mills has further Championship experience having also played in the division for Southampton, Doncaster and Reading.
Mills will provide added strength defensively as David Mellor misses tomorrow's match at Peterborough through a hamstring strain.
Philliskirk, meanwhile, has joined Latics on non-contract forms.
The 22-year-old returns to Boundary Park where his career kicked off before he joined Chelsea where he spent four years.
Philliskirk has since had spells at Sheffield United and Coventry City and had spent the summer training at Doncaster.
