Keeper joins Nantwich Town
Latics have loaned young goalkeeper Luke Simpson to non-league Nantwich Town for one month.The 18-year-old (pictured) is set to make his debut for the Cheshire club in this afternoon's home Evo-Stik League, Premier League match against Kings Lynn.
Simpson, a first-year professional, was on the bench for Latics' first three competitive fixtures of the season.
Management believe Simpson, who has yet to play a competitive first-team match for Latics, will benefit from the opportunity to play first-team football over the next month.
