Demand high for silver bricks

Latics' fans are signing up to join the Legends Wall of Fame in the new North Stand at Boundary Park.

Supporters queued today for the WE ARE LATICS club shop to open.

And within 24 hours of the bricks going on sale, the silver ones surrounding Joe Royle, Andy Ritchie, Roger Palmer. Jimmy Frizzell, David Eyres and Simon Corney had sold out.

There are still silver bricks available for the other legends - Ian Wood, Eric Gemmell, Bert Lister, Bobby Johnstone and fans' choice Alan Groves.

To celebrate the building of the new North Stand at Boundary Park, Oldham Athletic are offering fans the chance to be a part of the development by having their name or message of support engraved on a brick that will form the Legends Wall of Fame

Latics announced 11 legends, all of whom will be immortalised by receiving a prestigious gold engraved brick in a prime location within the stand. Each of the legends will be surrounded by six silver engraved bricks.

These limited edition bricks are available to purchase for just £100 and will make the perfect gift for the Latics' fanatic in your life. As there are only six silver bricks available per legend, demand will be  high and the club would advise securing your brick early to avoid disappointment.

Standard bricks are available on the Legends Wall of Fame for a one-off payment of £50. You can take your place and be a part of the new stand and the future of Oldham Athletic.

The name or message can be engraved over two lines with a maximum of 13 characters on each line, so space permitting you can have the message of your choice, subject to approval.

Bricks are available to buy from the We Are Latics club shop, which throughout December is open Monday – Friday between 9am and 5pm. There will be a dedicated area and staff to help with your order

If you are unable to make it into the club shop, yet still wish to be a part of this fantastic opportunity, then you can download an order form by clicking here  Order forms will also appear within the official matchday programme and also within the Oldham Evening Chronicle.

The bricks are available to purchase until 3pm on January 25th when Peterborough United visit Boundary Park.

Latics’ Commercial Manager Jenny Warburton said:  "The new stand is an exciting development for both the club and the town and it is only right that we give our loyal supporters the chance to be a part of it.

"The bricks make a superb Christmas present and your name or message can appear as a part of the club's history for years to come."
