Anton and Brendan give exclusive interview to Latics Player
Father and son Brendan and Anton Rodgers spoke exclusively to Latics Player ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup with Budweiser 3rd round tie at Anfield.It will be the third meeting of the two clubs in as many seasons with both teams celebrating a win on home soil. Latics earned themselves the name 'Giant-Killers' with their 3-2 win over Liverpool last season. This will be the first time that father, Brendan and son, Anton have come head to head in any professional football match. Anton reveals that they have always been very competitive with each other and admits that he would love to 'get one over on his dad'.
In the exclusive interview, Brendan who has kept a close eye on Latics this season, says that he believes Oldham can step up to the level in this sort of game.
