Young striker Jordan Bove has signed his first professional contract with the club, penning a one-year deal with the option of a second.
Bove was a prolific goalscorer in the Youth Alliance league last season scoring over 20 goals and finishing the club's top scorer.The striker's first-team debut ended in disaster last season as he was dismissed two minutes after replacing Anton Rodgers in Latics' Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over Notts County.
The contract keeps the 18-year-old with the club until the end of the 2014/15 season.
