Spanish trialist Miguel Llera is currently mulling over a contract with Oldham Athletic.
The defender, who scored in Latics’ 1-1 draw with Melbourne City, has been offered a contract by manager Lee Johnson and has been given time to evaluate his options. The 34-year-old was released by Sheffield Wednesday at the end of last season and has been looking for a club since.
Johnson said: "We have offered Miguel a contract and left it open for a few days for both to assess the market and our options.
"We understand that he has played at Championship level and might want to see if a Championship club or equivalent comes in for him but we are in constant communication and feel a deal can be done."
