David Mellor played 57 minutes of Alfreton Town's 1-0 away defeat to Dover on Saturday.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form since joining the Reds earlier in the month but could not help his loan side to the win.Mellor will be in Alfreton's squad for tonight's game with second-placed Halifax Town which takes place at the Impact Arena.
Manager Lee Johnson is happy with the progress the player is making. He said: "Dave is doing well at the moment. We are pleased that he is getting everything out of it and long may that continue."
