Oldham Athletic are delighted to announce captain Peter Clarke has penned a new two-and-a-half deal with the club.
The defender has played every minute in the league for Latics this season and has signed a contract keeping him at the club until the end of the 2018/19 season.Clarke has netted five goals so far this season and has been an instrumental figure at the back.
He has been part of a defence which has kept 15 league clean sheets and only conceded 39 goals which is the third best record in the division this season.
Clarke joins manager John Sheridan, Anthony Gerrard and Aaron Amadi-Holloway on long-term contracts.
