George Edmundson and Ryan Flynn attended Hey With Zion school in Lees yesterday.
The pair took part in a question and answer session with 40 pupils, talking about their progression into professional sport, the benefits of healthy eating and the dedication they show to the sport.Community coach Andrew Nesbitt said: “It was a great afternoon for the children to meet a couple of the players, some of whom they look up to.
“The questions were varied on a lot of topics and the lads answered honestly and truthfully and it was an afternoon enjoyed by all.”
