The draw for the first round of the EFL Cup will take place this afternoon at 1pm live on Facebook.
In a first for British football, the EFL (English Football League) has joined forces with Sky Sports to live stream the EFL Cup Round One draw as a Facebook Live event, providing millions of fans at home and abroad the chance to watch the draw unfold wherever they may be.
Fans eager to see where the road to Wembley begins for their club can watch the stream on the official EFL Cup Facebook page, as well as Sky Sports’ Facebook page, skysports.com and the Sky Sports app.
Latics are unseeded for the draw, meaning they face a seeded side from the northern section.
