Local School Children Receive Free Ticket For Saturday’s Game

21 October 2016

Oldham Athletic Community Trust have been busy this week handing out over 400 complimentary tickets to a range of schools across the borough.

Over the past three weeks, OACT ran the Kinder+Sport Kids Cup competition which saw 32 primary schools compete for the chance to represent Oldham Athletic at Wembley.

As part of the competition, all 32 teams received complimentary tickets for tomorrow’s game against Bristol Rovers.

Also, as part of the secondary school initiative, during Tuesday’s game against Scunthorpe United, OACT ran a schools networking event aimed at developing stronger links with schools in the area as well as showcasing their educational hub.

All schools who attended the event received complimentary tickets to give away to their students.

Community Trust manager Martin Vose said: “As part of the ongoing project to introduce Oldham Athletic to fans of the future, we are once again delighted to link up with the football club to give away complimentary tickets to local school children.

“It’s important that Oldham Athletic remains a family club in the heart of the community and this is another way of demonstrating how we achieve this.”
