Our resident dancers Street Jammers entered their first competition last weekend at Waterhead Academy.
23 nervous dancers took part in the competition, many of whom was their first time dancing in a competitive environment and they performed admirably.
Street Jammers walked away with a gold and silver trophy in two different categories which was a great achievement.
Street Jammers Head Coach Samantha O’Mara commented: “I’m so proud of the girls, they gave it 100% on the day and with only a small amount of time learning new routines they showed they are not just a dance team but a family.
“I would just like to mention a huge thanks to dance leader Gabrielle Noble and deputy dance leader Jessica Macrae for encouraging and supporting every dancer on the day and in rehearsals.”
