Midfielder Ollie Banks has joined Oldham Athletic following his release from fellow Sky Bet League One side Chesterfield.
Banks has signed a two-year contract with Latics and has become manager Steve Robinson’s 12th summer signing.The 23-year-old joined the Spireites in 2013 and was a key part of their promotion to Sky Bet League One that season.
The 6”3’ midfielder made 99 appearances in all competitions for Chesterfield, scoring 13 goals.
Banks has been assigned the number eight shirt and is available to play in tonight’s friendly against Preston North End.
