Manager Steve Robinson has added promising young striker Darius Osei to his squad on a one-year contract, subject to FA approval.
Osei joins from local side Stalybridge Celtic but spent time on loan last season with Championship side Barnsley.The striker has a keen eye for goal and the manager was delighted to get his signing over the line.
He said: “He is a boy we have kept tabs on and we have known about for a while now.
"It’s a great opportunity for him. He has a lot of good attributes which we feel we can work with. He is quick, strong and has raw talent and we definitely see him as one for the future.”
Osei will be in the squad for tomorrow’s pre-season friendly against Grimsby Town.
