Following discussions between Latics and the police, Tuesday's friendly against Manchester City at Boundary Park (7.45pm) is no longer all ticket.
Fans will be able to pay on the turnstiles - £15 for adults and £5 for concessions.
City have been allocated the whole of the Rochdale Road Stand.
