Oldham Athletic will host Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 25 (kick off 3pm).
Gary Bowyer will bring his Rovers side to SportsDirect.com Park as the game allows new manager Darren Kelly a chance to assess his players ahead of the new 2015/16 season.
The pair last met competitively in 2001 in the Worthington Cup with Blackburn running out 2-0 winners.
