The game between Oldham Athletic and Blackpool has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The referee arrived at SportsDirect.com Park at 11am and was happy with pitch conditions at the time.
However, following heavy rainfall and a 1pm pitch inspection, the referee has made the decision to call the game off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Chief Executive Neil Joy said: “It’s a massive blow to lose another fixture to the weather and the inconvenience it has caused to both sets of supporters.
"The ground staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that the playing surface was ready for today’s game and to be beaten by the rain is heartbreaking for them and everyone at the club.
“Despite the referee giving it every chance, the persistent rainfall over the last 18 hours has meant that the pitch is unfit and the referee had no choice to make this call."
