Ben Grant, scorer of two goals in the Youth Alliance Cup final, has accepted a quarter-of-a-million dollar scholarship to one of the leading soccer universities in America.
Grant will attend the prestigious University of Rollins, one attended by goalkeeping/fitness coach Anthony White, to further his education of playing and coaching football.The 18-year-old leaves for America in August and will embark on a tough pre-season with strength and conditioning coaches before travelling the country to compete for the national title.
Coach, White, said: "Ben will be provided with every opportunity for success in both football and in education.
"He will be living every boys dream for the next four years and I wish him luck for the future."
