Keith Brown Joins Backroom Staff

16 September 2015

Interim manager David Dunn has brought in Keith Brown to assist him with first team training.

Brown had a five year playing career including spells with Blackburn Rovers and Barnsley, before joining Accrington Stanley as academy manager.

After leaving in October 2014, Brown has now stepped in to assist Dunn and assistant manager Dean Holden and Dunn is delighted to have him on board.

He said: “He is a really good coach, really enthusiastic and we share a lot of same opinions on football.

“We were apprentices together at Blackburn Rovers so we have the same background and I think he will be a good help to both myself and Dean.”

Speaking about his appointment, Brown said: “I’m delighted David has asked me to help out.

“As David says, we have similar opinions on football so I’m here to help him where I can and move this club forward.”
