Mark Robins - The 45-year-old was appointed manager in October 2014, succeeding Russ Wilcox who was sacked despite leading them to promotion four months previous.
Robins added players to his squad in January and helped guide Scunthorpe away from relegation danger.
After an illustrious playing career, playing for the likes of Manchester United, Norwich and Leicester City, Robins made the move into management in 2007 with Rotherham United.
He spent two years with the Millers before making the move across Yorkshire to Barnsley.
After another two years with them, he was sacked and later managed Coventry City and Huddersfield Town before joining the Iron.
Robins has been given sufficient funds to enhance his playing squad this season, notably with the arrival of Luke Williams from Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee.
Former Preston trio Scott Laird, Scott Wiseman and Jake King will hope to earn a second successive promotion as Scunthorpe look to have a real go next season.

Williams will be known to fans as he scored the opening goal from 30 yards against Latics in last season's Capital One Cup clash.
The youngster had a previous loan spell with Scunthorpe in 2014, scoring two goals in seven appearances.
Williams has had previous loan spells with Hartlepool United and Peterborough United and has made over 20 appearances for Boro.
