Ahead of the first episode of MasterChef UK tonight featuring our Executive Chef and last year’s winner Simon Wood, you have the chance to experience his cooking skills next month.
To celebrate his brand new book, ‘At Home with Simon Wood: Fine Dining Made Simple’, we are offering guests the chance to attend an evening at the Oldham Event Centre to sample some of Simon’s dishes and hear about the inspiration behind some of the recipes from the man himself.
Our ‘At Home with Simon Wood’ night will take place on Friday, April 15 and consist of a sparkling drinks reception on arrival, a stunning five course menu featuring a selection of dishes from the book which will be personally prepared and cooked by Simon and his team, and a live compered question and answer with Simon at the end of the evening.
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the book on the night and have their copies signed by Simon.

Furthermore, Simon has this afternoon announced the launch of his first pop-up restaurant called ‘The Boardroom By Simon Wood’.
The restaurant, situated in the new Boardroom in the North Stand, will feature a variety of stunning dishes designed and cooked by Simon.
Set in sophisticated and contemporary surroundings, the offering will be inspired by Simon’s MasterChef journey and his book ‘At Home with Simon Wood'.
The boardroom launch will be on Thursday, April 21 and will run on the third Thursday of every month.
