Mark Haywood will be in charge of Saturday's Lancashire derby with Preston North End.
In his 29 games in charge this season, Haywood has handed out 89 yellows and three red cards.
Haywood last officiated Latics in their 2-0 defeat to Wolves last season at Molineux.
Paul Hobday and Matthew Jones will assist the referee whilst Ian Dudley will be Saturday's fourth official.
