Two local primary schools yesterday received a free sports kit courtesy of Oldham Athletic Community Trust.
East Crompton St Georges and Royton Hall, who are apart of the Community Trust's school programme, received the kit after entering into a random prize draw as a result of the PFA donating the kit after Oldham Athletic player Jonathan Forte won October's Sky Bet League One Player of the Month.
Martin Vose, OACT Participation Manager: "It's fantastic that Jonathan's award has benefited two local primary schools, it really highlights the partnership that exists between the football club and the community trust.
"We hope that the kits benefit both schools and we look forward to continuing our partnership work with all the local schools that we work with."
