Danny Philliskirk and Mike Jones visited Royton Hall Primary School today to support the school’s programme currently being delivered by Oldham Athletic Community Trust.
The afternoon saw the pair visit three classes in total with each intrigued to hear about the pairs careers and the path they took that led to them becoming professional footballers.
It was an extra special visit for Danny as he was going back to his old primary school.
The visit was a part of the Community Trust’s schools programme and is one of many visits to local schools by Oldham Athletic players this season.
Per week the Community Trust’s schools programme works with around 800 children across a variety of different projects and schools.
