Free agent Anthony Gerrard has rejoined Oldham Athletic and goes straight into the squad for tonight’s game against his former side, Shrewsbury Town.
Gerrard, who had a loan spell with the club at the end of last season, rejoins on a deal until the end of the season.The former Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town central defender signed yesterday morning, meaning he is eligible to face his former club Shrewsbury Town tonight.
The 29-year-old played six times for Latics last season helping the club keep three clean sheets.
He will wear the number 16 shirt whilst with the club.
