Oldham Athletic are delighted to confirm the signing of Simonas Stankevicius on a youth loan from Leicester City.
The striker, who has been capped eight times by Lithuania, has joined on a three-month loan deal until November 24.Manager Darren Kelly said: “It is a very good signing for us. I’ve watched him several times for Leicester under 21s and he is the type of player we need.
“He’s in the Jake Cassidy mould and he is enthusiastic to come and help the team so we are looking forward to him forcing his way into the side.”
Stankevicius will wear the number 23 shirt whilst with the club.
