SIGNING: Yeates Signs For Latics

25 August 2015

Oldham Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Mark Yeates on a short-term deal.

The winger has been training with the club since last week and has signed a deal with the club.

Yeates started his career with Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur before joining Colchester United permanently in 2007.

After excelling in his two seasons with the club, he earned a move to Championship side Middlesbrough where he spent a season under Gordon Strachan.

Spells with Watford and Sheffield United in the Championship followed before dropping down to League One to join Bradford City in 2013.

The 30-year-old had two seasons with the Bantams, scoring five goals in 70 appearances, before leaving at the end of last season.

Yeates will be available for selection for Saturday’s game with Bury and he will wear the number 22 shirt whilst with the club.
