Dave Penney has not ruled out a new move into the transfer market to strengthen his side for its end-of-season push.

The Latics manager has explained there is still scope within the playing budget to bring in another player.

Penney says after last Saturday's win against Walsall he decided to delay any possible move into the transfer market.

He explained: "The players did ever so well against Walsall and I felt there was no rush to bring in anybody.

"When we do, it will have to be somebody who will help to strengthen the squad."
