VITAL LEEDS TICKET INFORMATION
After discussions with Greater Manchester Police, the club have made the forthcoming game against Leeds United ALL TICKET and have now had to allocate the entire Leesfield Developments Stand to the visitors.
The Police issued the advice in an attempt to avoid crowd trouble and public disorder on the evening of the game, which will take place on Monday, March 2 (KO 7.45pm). The game has been allocated Category C status - football's highest security level.
Season ticket holders in the Leesfield Developments Stand should call at the ticket office to transfer their seats to either the Pentagon Vauxhall Main Stand (both tiers) or the Detect All Alarms Chaddy End.
Some seats have already been sold in the small section of the Leesfield Developments Stand, and fans holding these tickets should also contact the ticket office to transfer as soon as possible.
There will be NO ticket sales on the day of the game - tickets for all areas must be purchased at the ticket office and we have had to STOP sales online and over the telephone.
Chief executive Alan Hardy said: "We can only apologise to fans if this causes them any inconvenience but we have to take advice from the Police in cases like this.
"Leeds have a big demand for tickets and we are confident that the remaining capacity for home fans will be sufficient taking into account the attendance at the recent Stockport game and the fact that the game will be televised live on Sky.
"We would ask that the small number of fans who have already exchanged or purchased tickets for the small section of the Leesfield Developments Stand, call at the ticket office to make alternative arrangements.
"The club will compensate them for the inconvenience caused by refunding them the cost of their ticket and providing them with a free one for the alternative stand."
