Oldham Athletic have issued important ticketing information ahead of the game against Leeds United at Boundary Park on Monday, March 2 (KO 7.45pm).

The visitors were allocated the entire Leesfield Developments Stand following advice from police in an attempt to avoid crowd trouble and public order incidents at the game.

Just over half of the season ticket holders in the Leesfield Developments Stand have called at the Boundary Park ticket office to transfer their seats, and the club is urging those who have not yet transferred to do so before 5pm this Friday (February 20).

By doing so, this will allow the club to sell the maximum possible number of seats ahead of the game.

Season ticket holders in the Leesfield Developments Stand should call at the ticket office to transfer their seats to either the Pentagon Vauxhall Main Stand (both tiers) or the Detect All Alarms Chaddy End.

Some seats have already been sold in the small section of the Leesfield Developments Stand, and fans holding these tickets should also contact the ticket office to transfer as soon as possible.

Tickets are now almost sold out in the Pentagon Vauxhall Main Stand Upper Tier, and there is limited capacity remaining in the lower tier.

Online and telephone bookings are suspended for this game.

Chief executive Alan Hardy said: "We can only apologise to fans if the changes cause them any inconvenience but we have to take advice from the Police in cases like this.

"Leeds have a big demand for tickets and we are confident that the remaining capacity for home fans will be sufficient taking into account the attendance at the Stockport game and the fact that the game will be televised live on Sky.

"We would ask that the small number of fans who have already exchanged or purchased tickets for the small section of the Leesfield Developments Stand, call at the ticket office to make alternative arrangements.

"The club will compensate them for the inconvenience caused by refunding them the cost of their ticket and providing them with a free one for the alternative stand."
