John Sheridan is pleased his side have a home tie in the First Round of the FA Cup following Saturday's draw.

Latics were paired with League One rivals Doncaster Rovers, who came out on top in last week's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Now the teams will go head to head with a place in the second round of the country's number one competition at Boundary Park, with Richie Wellens returning to OL1 for the first time since departing in the summer.

The good thing is we've got a home game," Shez told Latics World.  "Doncaster are a good team, but they are beatable and we proved that last year.  They're a very good footballing team, but we're the home side and that's the main thing.  Hopefully it'll be a good game."
