Athletic chief John Sheridan will be looking to wring another win out of his injury-ravaged squad tomorrow as they continue to chase a play-off spot.

Maurice Malpas' Swindon have struggled of late but showed their ability during a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Boundary Park just over a month ago.

And Sheridan knows his Latics side -- boasting only fourteen professionals on duty tomorrow -- will have their work cut out against a Robins outfit who have still not secured their League One status for next season.

He told Latics World: "There's not too many names to choose from right now -- we're very short -- but hopefully I can put a team out that will go out and win the game.

"Swindon started the season quite well, and they're a decent team on their day who've got some good players and play some decent stuff.

"But we must only concentrate on ourselves.  We know we have to win the game and that's what we'll be trying to do."

Latics remain on the periphery of the play-off picture with a play-off tally only four points short of sixth-placed Tranmere, although Walsall, Brighton and Leeds all have games in hand.

And, according to Sheridan, only a maximum points haul of 15 out of 15 will see Athletic within striking distance as the campaign comes to a close.

"We've proved on numerous occasions we're as good as anyone in this league but we have that habit of switching on and off," he explained.

"We've probably had one decent run all season although there were a lot of drawn games in that sequence.

"If we can go on our longest run of the season now would be a great time to do it because we're going to have to win five from five to stand any chance of getting up there."
