John Sheridan has admitted he is tempted to chop and change as he targets a strong finish to the 2007/08 season.

Leyton Orient travel north tomorrow with a play-off place looking all but out of reach for both sides.

Sheridan has seen his squad cut further this week through injury to Jason Jarrett and Leon Constantine's return to Leeds.

But when every door closes another opens, and the Boundary Park chief is strongly considering tinkering with his admittedly limited options this weekend.

"I'll have a look at the team but there's not much I can do given who I've got available!" he said.

"But it gives me the chance to try one or two things, possibly involving Matty Wolfenden or playing [Deane] Smalley down the middle.

"I'll take a look at things and perhaps move people around to see how they cope with the pressure in different positions."

A strong finish to the season remains a big priority for Sheridan, who warned:

"If we can't finish sixth, then I want to finish seventh.  We've not got much to pick from but we will be going out there looking to win the game.

"Orient are a good side who have been in and around the top eight for most of the season.  Martin Ling's done a very good job there,

"He may be thinking along similar lines to ourselves and might try one or two things.

Sheridan added:  "This is an important game for us.  We're on a good run and results have picked up, but unfortunately too late.

"But I want us to carry on winning games and finish as high up the table as possible."
