SHEZ LOOKS AHEAD TO YEOVIL
John Sheridan will be looking to make life tough for new Yeovil chief Terry Skiverton at Huish Park tomorrow.
Russell Slade left the Glovers earlier in the week after guiding his side to four straight wins, and a midweek trip to Bristol Rovers ended in defeat under temporary boss Steve Thompson.
Thompson has now left the club and Yeovil legend Skiverton has been handed his first managerial position at the age of 33.
Yeovil inflicted Athletic's only League home defeat in 12 months earlier in the season and Shez is keen to respond with three points tomorrow.
"They did a good job on us at Boundary Park earlier on in the season and they've had some good results of late, barring Tuesday," he said.
"Obviously they lost at Bristol but they haven't been conceding goals and I don't know whether what's been going on at the club will affect them tomorrow.
"Now Terry has come in and I'm sure they'll all be up for a fight because they will believe they still need points to pull away from that bottom area."
He added: "A lot of people say a new manager coming in gives teams a lift, and Terry has been at Yeovil for a long time so he will have them pumped up.
"He will want to do well for himself too so we have to make sure he doesn't get off to a good start. It will be a very tough game but it's one we can win."
