A decent result considering the team is still suffering injuries and some of the players have the flu.
The game started well with a lot of end to end play until the 7th minute when Andrea Reece took a long shot and managed to drop the ball over the keeper and into the net. 1-0
Oldham broke again in the 13th minute, scored again when Melissa Lane latched onto the ball. 2-0
The game then settled down with Oldham having numerous good shots only for their keeper to deny us by pulling off some good saves.
Then Kelly Taylor broke through going one to one with the keeper, getting around her and scoring in the 24th minute. 3-0
A few minutes later (27th minute) from an Oldham corner Kelly Sessman got the ball and scored Oldham's 4th. 4-0
The game continued with some good football again (end to end) until Kelly Taylor put it in the back of the net again on the 44th minute. 5-0
Half time 5-0?.. (Substitution Rebekka Jones on for Melissa Lane)
The second half seemed to take its toll although Kelly Taylor got her hat trick on the 52nd minute making it 6-0. The ailments and flu started to show through, yet the team showed great character and battled on. Last 2 substitutions made (Lauren Carey on for Hannah Dermody) and (Dawn Wild on for Laura Challoner)
AFC Oldham Vixens Ladies managed to get 2 quick goals towards the end of the match making the final score 6-2
