Introduction To Latics' Futsal

Oldham Athletic Futsal started in January 2009 and was set up through members of the Community Trust. Since January the futsal club has developed quickly from playing in the local Manchester futsal league to now being one of 8 teams in the FA's Northern National League.

The team boasts players with National League and International Futsal experience and is mixed with players from as far as Portugal to local young talent who have progressed from the Community Trusts Kickz project.

Oldham Athletic Futsal Club have ambitions of developing the 5 aside skill based technical game of Futsal throughout the borough through the Community Trust linking in with Local Schools, Grassroots Clubs and Inclusion Initiatives.

With the senior squad qualifying and competing at the highest level it will provide a great opportunity for local youngsters to develop through junior teams and into a National Level Senior team.
