Latics old boy David Livermore will line up against Athletic next season after he completed a move to League One side Brighton on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old spent part of last season on loan at Boundary Park from Hull City, making ten appearances and scoring once before returning to the KC Stadium.

It was rumoured that the ex-Millwall favourite would make a summer move to the US, but Brighton boss Micky Adams has succeeded in persuading the player to remain on UK soil.

The move comes shortly after another of last season's loanees - Leon Constantine - joined fellow League One side Northampton, also on a free.
