Latics stalwart Mark Allott has been rewarded for his sterling displays in 2007/08 with a nomination for a North West Football Award.

The midfielder was a driving force in the engine room last season and swept the board at the club's end-of-season awards bash.

Now he's in the running for a North West Award, with the winners to be announced on November 17 at the Midland Hotel, Manchester.

Mark is up against ex-Latic Julien Baudet - now of Crewe - Liam Dickinson (formerly of Stockport), Tranmere's Ian Goodison and Carlisle's Danny Livesey.

Now the popular midfielder needs to garner YOUR votes in order to give himself the best possible chance of scooping the prize.
